What inspired you to start your business?
I wanted to combine what I was doing (recruiting/staffing) with giving back. We give 2% of our revenue to charity.
What challenges have you faced as a woman in business?
Sometimes people don't take my business as anything more than a hobby at first glance.
What’s the best business advice you’ve ever received?
Don't spend money that you don't have.
What lesson have you learned that you can share with other women entrepreneurs?
State your rates firmly and don't take a discount unless you get something for it.
In what ways has your membership in WPO impacted your personal or professional life?
I really enjoy the women that I have met in my chapter and at annual meetings. So inspiring and helpful.
What are your goals or aspirations moving forward?
Have fun growing my business and helping others and enjoy life at the same time.
