What inspired you to start your business?
I didn’t start the business, but I’ve always seen myself as a torchbearer for the legacy that was passed down to me.
What challenges have you faced as a woman in business?
As a woman in transportation, especially an Asian woman, I've faced a lot of doubt from others. People often don’t believe in women in this industry, and they just can’t relate to me being able to move giant, large machines. I’ve had to work twice as hard to earn respect, but it’s only made me more determined to break those barriers and prove we can thrive in any field.
What’s the best business advice you’ve ever received?
The best business advice I’ve ever received is to never think only about myself. In business, I focus on my vendors, my customers, and the end users, always keeping in mind how every decision impacts the bigger picture. I truly believe in the power of unity—when we all work together and support each other, everyone succeeds.
What lesson have you learned that you can share with other women entrepreneurs?
Stay true to your values, don’t be afraid to take risks, and remember that setbacks are just part of the journey. Surround yourself with a strong network of supporters who believe in you and your vision.
In what ways has your membership in WPO impacted your personal or professional life?
Being a member of WPO has given me a strong sense of solidarity. We share our struggles, our highs, and lows, and through it all, we truly understand and respect each other. It’s been incredibly valuable to have a supportive network where we can lean on one another, and I always leave feeling refreshed, with a renewed sense of peace and purpose.
